Travel and Transport
There is limited areas to drop your children off by car around the school and it gets very busy. Please walk your children to school if you can. Where this is not possible, please park a little way from school and walk the last part. This helps to ensure our children and families are safer around the school and avoids congestion on Laburnum Road.
Your children may be able to get travel assistance to school depending on how far the walk is and any special needs they have.
All children who are in Reception Year to the end of Year 6 qualify for travel assistance if they go to their nearest suitable or catchment school and live at least:
- 2 miles from the school if they are under 8
- 3 miles from the school if they are 8 or older. The statutory walking distances are measured by the shortest available walking route
- live in an area where there are no viable walking routes (for example, The Meadows and some areas of Beeston)
You may be entitled to school transport. To find out more click on the link below:Find out more about school transport and apply here
